Folk party built electioneering on appeals to toughening of immigration policy and saving of traditional neutrality for Switzerland. The agitation placards of SVP, on which a black sheep was represented in the herd of white, caused the wave of protest among public and remedial organizations, seeing in them a hint on discrimination on racial principle.
